In 2020, foodpanda entered the Japanese market. Drawing inspiration from manga, I illustrated these mythical creatures (yōkai) from Japanese folklore, combining them with cut-out images of well-known cuisines. For example, the Kappa, a reptilian creature famed for its love of cucumbers, is paired with cucumber maki rolls.
